Chief Executive Officer
Chris Beach, MA
Chris Beach, a lifelong resident of Upper East TN and is truly blessed to be the husband of his beautiful wife Erica. They have four incredible children between them: Carter, 17; Madison, 17; Kiley, 14; and Maddox, 8. Their family lives in Washington County, TN and we enjoy an active lifestyle. Chris is thankful to God for his amazing parents who adopted him as an infant at only two-months-old. His parents, Carl and Carolyn Beach, were working as house parents at Holston United Methodist Home for Children, which was then an orphanage in Greeneville, TN. While in his adolescence, his adoptive parents provided foster care for intellectually disabled youth, and later therapeutic foster care. This led his parents to adopt several more children while he was an adult. Thanks to his parents he is now the oldest of his 11 adopted siblings, 8 of whom were former therapeutic foster-care youth.
After graduating high school in 1989, Chris began work on a bachelor’s degree at ETSU. While he worked at Greene Valley Developmental Center, he pursued a degree in social work at ETSU. In July of 1993, he became a case manager with OmniVisions Inc. He loved working with troubled youth and used his experience as a foster brother to engage kids in positive change and growth. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he obtained his master’s degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College. In 2010, 16 and a half years after starting with OmniVisions Inc., he left to start his own business. He ran that business for a year before selling to join Camelot Care Centers Inc. He began as the Regional VP in Kingsport January 21, 2011, then moved to the CFO role before finally becoming the Chief Operating Officer in February 2017. Chris joined the team at Steppenstone Youth in early 2019.
