The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients and their families. The Clinical Therapist will provide all detailed documentation for record purposes.
The responsibilities of the Clinical Therapist include, but are not limited to: co-leading treatment groups; conducting therapy sessions with clients and/or families; completing Risk Assessments and progress notes; maintaining detailed client case records, attendance records, contact information, monthly discharge summaries, etc.; appearing in court regarding clients treated or individuals who he/she completed Risk Assessments for; assisting in acquisition of sources of funding; maintaining confidentiality in compliance with standards for informed consent; and participating in training opportunities.
Minimum requirements for the position are:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral sciences or a related field
- Certified and/or licensed to provide clinical treatment in the State of Tennessee
- Licensable and completing necessary steps to obtain licensure in the State of Tennessee
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge and experience in working with adults and adolescents with sexual behavior problems
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Attention for detail and implementation of new ideas for the continued growth of the clinical program
- Positive self-motivator
- Ability to follow administrative direction from the Clinical Executive Director, CEO /President, and designated acting supervisor
- Adaptable to change
Full-Time Transporter (Based out of Limestone, TN)
The Transporter is responsible for providing efficient and safe transportation of all clients as directed by the Transportation Coordinator and/or Senior Nurse. The Transporter must maintain a clinical and authoritative relationship with each resident while providing the best treatment and care possible.
The main responsibility of the Transporter is to provide transportation to all necessary client appointments under the direction of the Senior Nurse and Transportation Coordinator. The types of transports will be client-based only and may include, but are not limited to: medical transports, family visit drop-offs, respites, DCS, court, etc. Maintain communication with and work collaboratively with all direct care employees to maintain the highest quality of residential care and to ensure continuity within the residential program.
Minimum requirements for the position are: high school diploma or equivalent; possession of a current valid driver’s license with F endorsement (endorsement must be obtained by date of hire); clean motor vehicle record; ability to pass a 9-panel drug screen; ability to pass an extensive background check through the Department of Children’s services and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the ability to effectively and positively communicate with adolescents who have emotional and behavioral problems.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position that requires flexible availability Monday through Friday to work when transports are needed. The position is benefits eligible upon completion of a 90-day probationary period. Corporate vehicle is provided for transports.
